How to Fix Watch_Dogs Lag and Shutter

So since 7th November 2017 Ubisoft gave us watch dogs for free, wait you haven’t know that ? hurry click here to claim it before 13th November 2017.

So I tried Watch_dogs on low end PC a few days ago and its playable at first, but after a few minutes in the game my fps start dropping even after set all settings to low I still got fps drop in certain areas.But actually you can decrease it more and make it looks like console, that mean you may get watch dogs performance boost after using this tool.Actually you can edit configuration file manually by heading to C:UsersYourNameDocumentsMy GamesWatch_Dogs and open folder inside it and open GamerProfiler.xml with text editor (notepad,wordpad, notepad++ etc) and follow the instruction form Steam community thread.But with this tool you can save lot of time and have lesser risk than edit configuration file manually, this tool called ‘Watch_Dog Utility’ you can download it from Nexus Mods.

Lets get started!

1. Go to nexus mod website and then click ‘Files’ and click ‘download manually’, on Main Files click ‘download manually

2. Extract then open it
3. If you got an error while open it, just  close it or  click “ok”

4. Setting its configuration as you wish, I highly recommend you to experiment by yourself to get maximum result.
Here is my setting and run well on my potato roaster

5. Click Save
6. We haven’t done yet.
If you have Watch_Dogs shortcut on your desktop or using steam version, you can skip this step
Go to your Watch_Dogs file then open bin folder.
Right click watch_dogs.exe > Send to > Desktop Create Shortcut

7. On your desktop, right click Watch_Dogs’s icon then click properties (Skip this if you’re using steam version)

8. Go to Shortcut tab, on target box press space and add “-disablepagefilecheck” (without quote)
If you’re using Steam version, open Steam>Library>Games>Right click Watch_Dogs>Properties click Set Launch Options and write “-disablepagefilecheck” without quote

9. Launch your game
